I'm Bekka, the overly excited voice and face you'll experience behind the camera.

 

I am a portrait photographer based in South Haven, Michigan, but I serve all of Southwest Michigan. I am a mama to two beautiful children and a wife to my best friend, Ben.

 

After having our daughter, I realized how important having photos to look back on are. I didn't want to forget those wrinkly newborn fingers or how much she had grown by her first birthday. It feels like one second you are bringing a tiny baby home from the hospital and the next they have grown into their own little person.

 

To be honest, I've always had a passion for photography. Twelve-year-old me would take her mom's digital camera and beg my sister to go outside and pose for me. I loved making her look and feel her best (although when we look back on those pictures, our style choices were questionable, to say the least!)

 

BUT THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF PHOTOGRAPHY...THE LOOKING BACK; THE LEGACY AND MEMORIES THAT YOU GET TO RELIVE EVERY TIME YOU TAKE OUT THAT SCRAPBOOK OR GLANCE AT THE PHOTOS HANGING ON YOUR WALL. 

 

You can look back on those pictures and remember the milestones with your children, the anniversaries, the birthdays, and everything in between. That's why I am so OBSESSED with capturing those memories for you to treasure for years to come.
